A chemical plant in western China has had some accidents and urgently needs to handle pipeline on site. The site needs to remove the damaged pipeline and build a new one. But they have never used this split frame pipe cold cutting machine before.

First we need to know the pipe specification on site, which includes pipe diameter and wall thickness. We recommend 2 “-8”, 6 “-12”, and 8 “-14” machines according to the pipe size provided.
In the communication with the owners, they raised the following questions:

1. How does the machine mount on the pipeline

Answer:  The split frame allows the machine mounte on the pipeline.

2. Some pipeline are not vertical or horizontal. Can they be installed?

Answer: No matter how the pipeline placed, the cold cutter can install on it.

3. There are still some substances left in our pipeline, which can not be cut with flame/spark.

Answer: The cutting is cold cutting, without any spark

4. The owner need the machine very urgently, request dispatch the next day.

Answer: We keep all size stock, we can match the delivery time.

Order confirmed on August 24th, we dispatched the August 25th. It took 5 days arrived in the west of China.

As we sent them the operation video before the pipe cold cutter arrive, once they got the equipment, they started test and trainning on site.

In the picture, you will see the 2″-8″ split frame pipe cold cutting and beveling machine, the pipeline material P11.
