I. Project background
In October 2018, the project was being processed on site at the Oman Chemical Plant. It was necessary to cut and process the DN300-DN600 thick-walled alloy pipes (wall thickness 25-45mm) on site to meet the welding requirements of high-pressure pipes under the ASME B16.25 standard.
II. Processing standards
Implement the ASME B16.25 37.5°±1° composite groove specification
Groove angle error ≤0.5°, blunt edge thickness tolerance ±0.2mm

III. Implementation details
Implement three-shift operation and configure a mobile sunshade and cooling system
Develop a dual-head collaborative processing program to complete the V-shaped composite groove in a single pass
Use pulse feed technology to reduce tool loss by 40%

High one-time pass rate of grooves
Improve efficiency compared to traditional processes
